One of my most valued resources in new music, Potholes In My Blog has just announced that they will be launching a record label and store through their website. If this is a website you have not visited before, I suggest you start visiting it now. They consistently have the best new hip-hop, electronic, R&B and jazz tunes of any music blog that I am familiar with. A fair amount of music that I have put up on this blog has come from there, so if you like this music, you’ll probably like their tastes as well.
The first release by Potholes is a funk/R&B group with obvious jazz influences from San Francisco called Grillade. Below is their music video for the song ‘Dream of You (Emotionally Yours)’ as well as the stream of ‘The Meeting’, which both come of of that 7″.
