Granted street art is nothing new Aakash Nihalani gives some perspective to the art form with his manipulation of strait lines, edges, and oddly enough tape. Using basic colors and shapes Nihalani manages to yank unsuspecting pedestrians from their typical view of structures, allowing minds to briefly escape. Instinctively creating these new structures amongst the old, Nihalani plays off of perspectives of everyday life and creates a disconnection from them through art. With many of his pieces interactive you’ll be sure to know when you see one or are a part of it for that matter.
