So I’ve got a few tracks on back-log and since they’re friends and collaborators I thought it would be appropriate to throw them up together. It’s not because I’m lazy if that’s what you were thinking.
The first is the “New” (hence ‘Back-Log’) single from AndDrop! called ”Refuge”. After having heard and posted a number of AndDrop!’s tracks I can honestly say that this ranks among my favorites, I’m not what you would call a dance aficionado, but to be able to get really into a banging dance track on recovery-monday speaks to the quality of production here. Check out AndDrop!’s newest electro track, ”Refuge” below and enjoy.
The next track, “Troubled By Change” shows that it’s producer Mike Spliff really has no reason to be troubled (I can’t believe that’s the joke I went with). His tracks get better and better with every email and I’m starting to get really bothered that the dance scene over in Berekley California is blossoming so much more than ours is. Check out the stream of “Troubled By Change” below. It’s actually pretty haunting.
The last track is another “new” remix from Nashville’s own Modern Bandits, of Austrian producer, D.I.O.’s “Young Blood” which was released on his Young Blood (Remix EP). This one’s much more varied than we’re used to in terms of styles, but they really managed to nail it. Stream and enjoy below.
Beer Recommendation: Goes really well with a Sierra Nevada Torpedo in a can.
